Our experts have extensive experience in conventional welding techniques (for example electrode-hand, MAG, WIG, WIG hot-wire and UP welding). In addition to traditional welding techniques, we are also a proficient partner for new welding methods such as electron-beam welding. The uniform, efficient pre-heating is made possible using the inductive process.
Welding experts at Hilgefort are regularly trained in accordance with EN 9606-1; operating personnel and supervisors have completed training in accordance with EN 14732 and EN 14731 respectively. Furthermore, we ensure that welding is supervised by welding experts and welding engineers in accordance with ISO 14731. Several external service providers perform independent, non-destructive tests such as VT, PT, MT, UT and RT. Hilgefort also tasks its own qualified employees with testing components in accordance with VT, PT and MT. WPQ tests are conducted in accordance with EN 15614, AD 2000 and EN 13445. In addition, the company has been certified in accordance with ASME Section I Steam boiler construction (“S” stamp) and ASME Section VIII-1 Pressure vessel construction (“U” stamp) since August 2016.
